Singapore Trip 3rd & Last Day (3/10/08-4/10/08)

Woke up around 645am. Mother in law wanted to try dimsum at Chin Swee's Red Star Restaurant. Recommended by 3rd uncle and one of the taxi driver. Claimed to serve the best dimsum in Singapore.
The restaurant is located at 7th floor of a flat at Chin Swee. It opens at 7am. At 7.30am, the place is quite empty. The waitress told us that the place will be packed after 8am. We ordered har-gao, cha-siew pao, porridge, siew mai, sin cuk guen and big pao nearly the size of Yip Chi Mei dai bao. Not so nice only, except the porridge. SS2 and KL have nicer dimsum. Or maybe we are not used to the flavour & taste.
Wow, Red Star Restaurant is rated Top 4 Delicious Food in Singapore.

With mother in law.
After breakfast, we headed back to our hotel. Still early. This is our room, no. 2737.
Our first stop is Ngee Ann City. Father in law wanted to shop for 2nd brother also. He bought some shirts and shoes for 2nd bro. At 12pm, father in law went back to hotel. Aunty Mary took them out for lunch. We did not follow as we felt we did not have enough time to shop. Haha..
Orchard Road. Even though the sun was bright, the big and shady trees covered the street and felt cooler.
We headed to Wisma Atria. Heard that the food court has got nice food. The food court is called Food Republic. I ordered Dao Siao Mien. The chef held a chunk of flour and sliced the flour into long strips. That's where this noodle got its name. Looks tasty but it was just the opposite. :( Should have ordered from another stall selling prawn noodle which is famous but long queue. I was too hungry already.
Our dessert, ais kacang. Quite nice but abit too sweet for my liking.
Candid shot. Dear had finished his food haha. Can you see the queue behind me? Those people were queuing up for the prawn mee.
After lunch, we continued shopping in Wisma Atria. Father in law later told me that last time there used to be a big aquarium at the basement. Later it was converted into shops.

Eeeee???? Why so many people here? Must go in and see what's so special. So crowded but the sales girls are so helpful and nice. I bought 3 pairs of heels. Haha...Discount up to 50%.
Kate Moss loves Top Shop and so do I. I just love this apple shirt that i must have it!
Forever 21.
Couple towels. Dear bought these. So sweet...
Met up with my university friends. So happy. We had dinner at Swensen, just opposite my hotel. We chatted and chatted like old times.
As it was already 9pm, dear excused himself to buy Ralph Lauren polo shirt. Luckily he left early coz the shop was about to close.Blue polo shirt - Out of stock in KL. Dear was so excited to spot this in Singapore.

After everyone had left, we went back to our hotel. Was really tired. Had to pack our things and zzzzzzzzz...

The next morning, we woke up around 645am and walked to McDonald's (again!) for breakfast. We checked out at 9am and took a cab to the airport.
Bye bye Singapore.............
