Taiwan Trip 24/7/08 (1st day)

This is my first oversea trip with dear dear. We chose Taiwan, as we are both fans of many Taiwanese shows and dramas. Really would love to step our feet in this country, famous for shopping and eat eat eat!!! And hopefully can see our favourite hosts, Jacky Wu & Momoko (hmmmm though i know the chances are slim, *sigh*)

Checked in and took a picture of our plane, China Airlines. Can't wait to board!

Dear dear, wake up! Time to board!!! Yay...
Pray that the ride won't be so bumpy..

Finally after nearly 5 hours flight, we reached Taiwan!!! Notice Lee Hom's big advertisement. (By the way, i bought 2 cardigans at MNG, KLIA hahaha..)
We were greeted by our Tour guide, Ah Bao ge... it took us 45minutes to reach our hotel, Sunny Business Hotel in Bade road. It was already 8.30pm and Ah Bao ge suggested us to go to Living Mall, just 10minutes walk from our hotel, and Raohe night market.

Stuffs i bought at Living mall. We went to Watson and soooooo many things to shop. I bought Tsubaki shampoo which is #1 in Taiwan now. Hmmm notice that i also bought an umbrella? Ah Bao ge advised us to bring umbrella as Taiwan's summer is SUPER HOT (average temperature = 36 degree celcius)!

Wow.......so many masks and guess who bought all these? My dear dear! But these are not for me, haizzzzzzzzz...........he bought all these for his friend oooo.... Taiwan's Watson has so many varieties, especially cosmetics imported from Japan..

Raohe Night Market entrance. Let's go try some local snacks, yahooo....... The time is nearly 11pm but still full of people oh...

Awwwwww....something smelly filled the air, ahem...the smell is like from rubbish trucks .. (oops..paiseh)...
It's none other than the famous 'chou dou fu' or smelly tofu!
Taste quite ok though.. Love the gravy. It comes with pickled cabbage oh..

Not to forget, the famous oyster omelete or what the local call 'oh ah jian'. Again the gravy is nice, but too sticky for my liking.

Stuffs we bought at Raohe night market. Very cheap oh, my sandals and shoes are NT85 (RM8.50) each. And one thing i noticed is that there are a lot of shops selling sports shoes esp. NIKE shoes..and this pair bought by dear dear only costs NT1390 (RM139). Very good deal oh.

We took cab back to our hotel. You should experience for yourself how the Taiwanese drive! They are even more 'keng' than our KL drivers. Haha...But very friendly people oh...Taxi fare is not cheap, starting from NT70.

Back to hotel to zzzzzzzzz........
